Record the model and configuration, including the lens, video output, control connection and any selected options. Attach the quotation or configuration record so the sample can be traced back to what was agreed.
List the included items
Confirm whether the supply includes the core, lens assembly, evaluation board, power hardware, cables, software or documentation. Mark items your team must provide separately. Availability is confirmed for the specific sample enquiry.
Request the engineering documents
List the datasheet, assembly drawing, pinout, interface information and any operating instructions required by your team. Ask the supplier which documents apply to the selected sample configuration and revision.
Define the evaluation conditions
Write down the scene, distance, lens, power, host connection and environment. Record the sample identity and setup alongside observations. If calibrated temperature data is required, obtain confirmation of radiometric capability and its specification before treating the sample as a measurement device.
Agree the purchasing details
Confirm evaluation quantity, price, included items, payment and delivery arrangements. State the requested date and destination, then obtain the supplier’s confirmed schedule. Keep requested dates distinct from confirmed commitments.
Review the result before the next order
Keep the evaluation findings and agreed changes with the sample record. Confirm the configuration that should appear on the next quotation or order, including differences from the evaluated sample.
